CIMIC exercise

Eleven students from the class 2009 of MA for Conflict Mediators and Peace Operators in Bolzano and four guests from the class 2009 of MA for International Peace Operators in Gorizia have participated in the CIMIC exercise organised by the Alps troops (Ufficio Addestramento of Comando Truppe Alpine together with the 6° Reggimento Alpini) in collaboration with the Province of Bolzano. The students were accompanied by the tutor Mersiha Cehajic and by myself.
     
 
The activities proposed were both theoretical and practical: demining, topography, distribution of humanitarian aid, convoy escort, technics of crowd control, rescue operations, technics of surviving.
